This body of work explores the balance of color density  throughout the individual pieces as well as the interaction of textures layered over and resting beside each other.  Beginning with small collage studies and expanding into abstract painting, these works are an exploration of  decisive placement and  the effect of descision regarding placement and dispersal of each compositional element within the greater structure of each piece.
